Below are the answers to some frequently asked questions.

Are your acts appropriate for my event?
All our characters began life as street theatre and are based on people you might find anywhere, so they are suitable for every event, themed or not. The acts are versatile and easily adapted to any audience or venue. Based on visual humour, which means no language barrier, the characters are effective from a distance and close-up - perfect for large-scale outdoor events or smaller indoor gatherings. And all our acts have been successfully performed to family audiences.

Are your actors experienced?
All our actors are Equity members with full Public Liability Insurance. They are highly experienced in this type of work, and are particularly astute when it comes to audience participation.

How many acts can I have at my event?
Our basic package allows you to choose up to 3 different acts, although you can have as many as you like.

Which acts should I choose?
Some people choose characters based on theme, some on personal preference. We believe our characters are most effective when they are somehow at odds with their surroundings. The Rich Beggars stand out at informal events while the Ugly Tarts and Hairy Flashers are in their element at glamorous functions. The World Record Attempt at Apathy is incredibly effective at high profile sporting events and the Spacemen enjoy planting American flags in famous British landmarks.

How long do you perform for?
During a standard event we perform three times, 45 minutes each performance.This is flexible and we can agree a timetable to suit your event. We need about 45 minutes between acts to change costume.

How many performers should I book?
Some acts are only for two characters, some for three, and some can have as many as you like. Call us and we can advise you on what is best for your event.

How much do you charge?
This depends on how many days your event lasts, how many acts you want, the number of performers you need, where your event is, the start and finish times (we may have to travel and stay overnight), and whether you have scheduled any rehearsal days. Our rates are very reasonable and we provide generous discounts for longer events.

What are your technical requirements?
All we need is a secure dressing room. That's it.
